I was captivated by the oil painting process in my teen years. Our school had the privilege of having a professional Vermont artist as our teacher. I was drawn to her painterly impressionistic style. However, I put art aside, earned degree in Physics from the University of Vermont and worked in the semiconductor and IT industry for 35 years as both an engineer and marketeer. I loved this path...I met so many nice/brilliant/creative people; we worked in a goal focused environment of teamwork and excellence! Now I’ve circled back to my first love -- art. I'm drawn to a variety of art techniques; my process starts with fundamentals, uses a crazy variety of tools to move paint around, and ends with pure intuition.
